The Spiral Stair is StairMeister's signature product and is very often an architectural focal point in our clients' homes. Our stairs are constructed with unique log center columns, hand-sculpted log treads, individually-bent handrails with hand-hewn spindles that are typically dovetailed into the treads.
The Spiral Stair concept is to provide access to living space while using as little floor area as possible. In some parts of the country, building codes limit the use of a Spiral Stair to access 400 sq. ft. of living area or less. Please check with your local Building Department for applicable codes before ordering.
The following drawings are to 1/4" = 1' scale so they can be cut out and used on floor plans. Refer to Spiral Stairs - Specifications to determine the appropriate number of treads for your stairs. Allow 1 1/2" minimum hand clearance on all sides when framing stair wells. If the following pdf's do not print to size click here. |
